Texas Health Hospital
This new 20-acre medical and hospital campus was developed to better serve the growing community of Frisco, TX. The campus includes an acute care hospital and a multi-specialty clinic. The timber showcased in this project makes a statement, with engineers creatively utilizing 10.75”x48” glulam V-columns to support the breezeway canopy between the hospital and the medical center. 19 glulams are located throughout the medical campus. Beyond their natural beauty, these glulams are tough – as strong as concrete and steel, and more sustainable.

“It was a Herculean task, and they’re still a bit awe-inspiring. I think people are going to be drawn to the monumentality of the glulams. And I hope a lot of good comes under them." - Robert Klodginski, Project Manager
